Sir Isaac Newton, the scientist who is known world wide. When I was in primary school I remember our teacher was telling about him. You know when you are a child you can find everything funny, well I was obviously in that age :) and it was so funny to learn that Newton found the gravity with the falling of the apple on his head under the tree. Unfortunately, now I think he was such an unbelivable person with a lot of great understandings and ideas.
Few days ago I heard one of his research activity on the return of Christ. It was a shock to me to see how he actually attached to his belief and did actually work on that. To be honest, I didn't read about his work that much out of my school times.Well, when I heard about this research i decided to read more. I won't go through the details of his research but shortly will explain and come to the conclusion.
Newton had a simple calculation for the date of the return of the Christ as shown in the following:
Daniel 8:14
"And he said unto me,Until two thousand and three hundred days;then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. "
Therefore, let's do the calculation as it says in the quotation;
2300 Dan 8:14
-457 B.C.
___________
1843 A.D.
So the result shows the year of 1843, but Newton says the actual year is 1844 and the explanation is;
actually there are varies of explanations exist about this part of the calculation... one of them says there is no Zero year. The other ones mentions the differences between the linear and the solar calendars, thus, 1843 actually ends in 1844. Another reason is given as the begining of the year which is taken as the 21st of March-the Spring Equinox.
Result: The return of Christ or the Expectation Day is in 1844.
One of the amazing event is the interest on this return was not just related with Protestants. The templars from Germany and the Carmelite nuns went to Israel near to the date of big day - the return of the Christ in 1844.
So what happened at the end? Did He return or not? Well, according to my research most of the Christians were dissappointed with the result. They couldn't witness to the incident as they believed. Is that really so?
I have mentioned on my earlier post that i have been in Israel and lived there for 18 months. I was in Haifa, I saw most of the Holy Places of Christans like the Elijah's cave, Taberias, Armegeddon and so on. The templers who were moved for the Expectation Day settled on the place that they would expect where Christ would come to. Now this settlement area called Ben-Gurion Street. When you walk on this street you can still see the writings on the old buildings, were belong to the templers, saying 'He will return' or something about God. As my German is not enough to understand that much i cannot excatly write what actually says on the buildings.
Now, when I used to walk up from this street whilst looking left and right seeing those writings and facing to the mount Carmel, I could see this amazing area where the Shrine of Bab stands - which can seen in the picture, was taken from Ben-Gurion street - with all its beauty surronded with beautiful gardens and with other Administrative Buildings of the Baha'i World Centre where I served not long ago. Hmm I am thinking loudly, does that show something? or Does this mean anything? Let's see...
I am not going to give this huge information about the Baha'i Faith, if you would like to learn more you can push the link on the right hand side under links section, where you can find all sorts of information about the Faith. Anyway, just to clearify the connection between return of Christ and the Bab I would like to explain some small details about the Bab.
"On May 23, 1844, in Shiraz, Persia, a young man known as the Báb announced the imminent appearance of the Messenger of God awaited by all the peoples of the world. The title Báb means "the Gate." Although Himself the bearer of an independent revelation from God, the Báb declared that His purpose was to prepare mankind for this advent.
Swift and savage persecution at the hands of the dominant Muslim clergy followed this announcement. The Báb was arrested, beaten, imprisoned, and finally on July 9, 1850. ...Today, the majestic building with the golden dome, overlooking the Bay of Haifa, Israel, and set amidst beautiful gardens, is the Shrine where the Báb's earthly remains are entombed. "
In my opinion, this can't be a big coincidence. Just in case if you don't know much about Muslim Faith and Quran, short information about them as well. From the Holy Quran, with the calculation, called 'Abjad', you can reach the same year - 1844. Should we think about this more? Well, I think this is amazing, I am absolutaley speechless with what I read so far.
Anyway everyone...hope you enjoyed reading this, i enjoyed writing :)
PEACE!

It is quite a coincidence that Joseph Smith claimed to have been the prophet who restored the kingdom of God on the earth that Daniel prophesied of, and he and his brother Hyrum were martyred in 1844, the date set where the "sanctuary would be cleansed". How was the sanctuary or tabernacle cleansed or purified in Law of Moses, by the sprinkling of blood from a sacrifice. Many of the prophets closed their testimonies of Christ with their martyrdom just as Jesus would sacrifice himself for the sins of the world. The law of two witnesses states in the mouth of two witnesses truth will be established.
Joseph Smith was not only martyred in 1844, he was killed on what many scholars believe is one of four days of Atonement on the Hebrew Calendar. Also in the prophecy in Daniel that establishes 1844, it states the following: "How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation [the abomination of desolation], to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?"
17 Tammuz on the Hebrew calendar is the holy day connected with "abomination of desolation and the ending of the daily sacrifice" at the temple. It usually falls in late June or early July. Joseph and his brother was killed on June 27, 1844. So while it looks like his death date was chosen by God for the day of Atonement and on 10 Tammuz a week before 17 Tammuz, it still falls on a day in the Gregorian calendar in which it falls a lot on. Joseph Smith was born on Dec 23, 1805 which is 1 Tebeth on the Hebrew calendar. "While the true Hebrew Calendar is not yet perfectly understood, all indications are that the evening of 23 Dec 1805 began the Hebrew day 1 Tebeth, the precise day of the winter solstice on that calendar". So it looks like Joseph Smith was born on on of four seasonal markers and dies on one of the four days of Atonement. Interestingly the name Joseph means "to restore", and his brother Hyrum who was killed with
him means "my brother is exalted".
7 Tammuz was a day of mourning basically related to the loss of the temple.
The Lord appears to be stating in these verses that someday in the future these dates will be a time of celebration.
And the word of the Lord of hosts came unto me, saying,
Thus saith the Lord of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be in the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.
Thus saith the Lord of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:
And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts: I will go also.
Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the Lord. (Zechariah 8:18-22)
The temple that Joseph Smith and the Latter Day Saints was building in Nauvoo was destroyed by fire by his enemies after his death( on a side-note, notice the word "saints" is also used in Daniel prophecy). The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints rebuilt the Nauvoo temple about 11 years ago and dedicated it on Joseph and Hyrum's martyr date of June 27 at 5pm and that date 6-27-2002 was 17 Tammuz on the Hebrew calendar! So what was once a date of mourning for the loss of the temple is now celebration of an opening of one!
Should say 17 Tammuz above, not 7 Tammuz.
